Beltaine 2008 - NSWSydney Betlaine 2008 Gathering 17-19th October 2008 It’s time to leave the Winter behind and revel within a festive Spring atmosphere! Beltaine 2008 A weekend that’s yours to party as hard or as gently as you wish. Some flirtatious fun where you are free to indulge in delicious food and wine, celebrate the sabbat in ritual, dance til dawn, expand your knowledge through Beltaine inspired workshops, meditate, soak up the ambiance of the bushland at Beltaine or settle down by the fireside to ponder life’s mysteries till the wee hours of the morn. It’s your call at how naughty or nice you craft your experience ;-) The organisers of this event have pooled the best of their ideas and experiences, inspired by Betaines and gatherings of yester year, in an attempt to create a playful yet safe environment for pagans and pagan friendly folk to frolic in the fertility festival. As an adult only event, it is expected that this event may at times be mature in content, but at no times will guests be required to participate in any activity that may make them uncomfortable. Please note - this event will be adults only 18yrs+ Nestled within the Royal National Park at Waterfall, the location offers our guests a tranquil bushland escape only 40 minutes drive south of the Sydney CBD. The facilities are basic, neat and well cared for with solid timber bunks in dorm style rooms for indoor accommodation and generous areas nearby for camping enthusiasts. Ample toilet and shower blocks are available for use by both camping and indoor guests with electrical outlets for those who don’t want to leave behind the creature comforts of a hair dryer. Exact details & direction to the venue will be given when you register for Beltaine. A large under cover shelter provides a rustic bush dining experience with seating and tables for up to 200 guests. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a kitchen that will be sure to produce delectable delights from the magical cauldron of our caterer. The site features a creek that runs through the heart of the camp into a large watering hole perfect for a dip or a quiet repose on it’s banks. A 20 minute hike up one of the campsites many bush walking tracks will see you at “Bubble Rock” A series of caves created by the rapid cooling of lava bubbles.
